APPLY FOR FUNDS
The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads Charitable Trust
We are delighted that Love the Broads has provided grants to over 50 projects across the Broads National Park over the past 9 years to a value of around £100,000.
The Broads Trust welcome grant applications at any time of the year. Each application will be discussed at the meeting following the receipt of the application. Meetings are normally held every two months at the end of January, March, May, July, September and November.
Decision-making will depend, in large measure, on how much money has been donated to the scheme.
All applications must adhere to at least some of the following guidelines:
Protect biodiversity
- Conserve and enhance the natural environment, including wildlife
• Provide appropriate facilities for residents and visitors
- Maintain and improve the navigable waterways of the Broads
- Promote the responsible use of land and water resources
- Interpret the unique ecosystem that is the Broads
- Create educational resources to promote better understanding
- Inform and engage the interest of young people
- Sustain community life in the Broads area
- Maintain the cultural heritage of the Broads
- Address the local consequences of climate change
There are two types of awards: a limited number of projects can be selected to link up with a single business partner, which will raise money specifically for that scheme. But we will also collect most of the donations into a single fund from which we can make small one-off grants available to applicants with suitable projects. If you are thinking of applying to the Trust for a Love the Broads grant, please read carefully through the downloadable information here. For further details on the types of Love the Broads grants available and guidelines for making an application, please download our Guidance notes for applicants.
For an application form, which will enable you to make an application for either our Business Sponsorship or our Small Grants scheme, please download this Application Form. It can be filled in on your computer and sent in to us electronically.
All Project Applications can be submitted via email, or post, along with supporting documentation, to:
